Charleston, W.Va. (September 18, 2015) — Kay Casto & Chaney attorney, Charles “C.W.” Pace, will present an overview of the West Virginia Uniform Power of Attorney Act at a special seminar for estate planners on October 23, 2015. In addition, Pace will cover abuse by agents under the Durable Power of Attorney Act, and an explanation of West Virginia’s e-Directive Registry.
The day-long event will be held in the WVU Medical Building, which is located on the Kanawha City campus of Charleston Area Medical Center. Presentations will also be broadcast live on the web. “Tricks and Treats for Estate Planners” is hosted and organized by West Virginia Continuing Legal Education, a division of the WVU College of Law.
At Kay Casto, Pace primarily concentrates in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, estate administration, general business entity matters, commercial transactions, mergers, and commercial litigation. Pace routinely represents clients in tax matters before the Office of Federal Tax Appeals, and he assists in the review and analysis of federal tax issues.
