Charleston, WV (November 27, 2020) – Kay Casto & Chaney PLLC is pleased to announce that Haley S. Hillen has joined the firm as an associate in the Morgantown office. Hillen will focus her practice in the area of litigation.
Prior to joining Kay Casto & Chaney PLLC, Hillen served corporate clients in multiple areas of law, and she counseled individuals in matters related to family wealth planning, estate planning, and estate and trust administration. She has also represented clients in estate and trust disputes, including many disputes that led to civil litigation. Hillen has also represented both as petitioners and respondents in the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia.
Hillen is a summa cum laude graduate of West Virginia University (B.A., 2011), and the West Virginia University College of Law (J.D., 2014). Hillen graduated with impressive honors, including Phi Beta Kappa and Order of the Coif. Hillen was an active participant in student government and participated in the Supreme Court Clinic, where she gained valuable experience in appellate work. Hillen was recently honored by Best Lawyers as “One to Watch” for her skills in the areas of corporate law and family law.
