Elizabeth D. Grant is an attorney with Kay Casto & Chaney PLLC and focuses her broad-based practice in the areas of commercial law, civil litigation, insurance defense, and mediation in the firm’s Martinsburg office.
Elizabeth received her bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2005 from West Virginia University. She returned to West Virginia University to obtain her Doctor of Jurisprudence, graduating in 2014. She was a member of the Order of the Coif and West Virginia Law Review.

After graduating from law school, Elizabeth clerked for the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. After her clerkship, she worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Berkeley County, West Virginia. Prior to joining our firm, she was an Assistant Attorney General for the West Virginia Attorney General where she focused on criminal appellate and consumer protection matters. She was also appointed Special Assistant United States Attorney, which gave her the opportunity to co-chair three federal criminal trials.
Outside the office, Elizabeth is a member of the Junior League of the Eastern Panhandle.
