Morgantown, W.Va. (November 16, 2015) – Kay Casto & Chaney PLLC is pleased to announce that Kevin T. Gillen has joined the firm as an associate in the Morgantown office. Gillen’s practice will be focused on civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance defense, commercial law and construction law.
Gillen comes to Kay Casto & Chaney from Jackson Kelly PLLC, where he practiced for four years. He received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the West Virginia University College of Law in May 2011 and graduated Order of the Coif. While in law school, he served as a senior editor of the West Virginia Law Review and received a certificate of excellence in legal writing. Gillen also served as a summer intern for Judge Keeley. He graduated magna cum laude in May 2008 from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. Prior to graduating from college, Gillen served in the United States Marine Corps.
Gillen is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in West Virginia, the United States Court Of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States Court Of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
